Yvonne Jamal

Yvonne Jamal holds a degree in business administration and is an expert in sustainable procurement. She has more than 20 years of experience in management positions at well-known international companies. After discovering her enthusiasm for sustainable procurement while working in procurement, she founded the JARO Institut e. V. in 2018 with like-minded people. JARO is a non-profit association based in Berlin that supports organizations with guidelines, e-learning, podcasts, studies, workshops and online formats for socio-ecological transformation. She is also a volunteer regional board member of the German Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME), a member of the advisory board of the start-up Climate Choice and co-editor of the book “CSR und Beschaffung” (2024, Springer Verlag).
