The German technology company Ubirch has created the ESG Data Exchange Network so that companies and their suppliers can easily and audit-proof fulfill the EU requirements for ESG data in sustainability reports from 2024. It is therefore a crucial CSRD process component and enables transparency and climate protection through the exchange of machine-readable ESG data that can be used directly in operations. Both data suppliers and data collectors can thus reduce their costs and become more efficient. The purpose of the ESG Data Exchange Network is to provide the ESG data for Scope 3 of the CSRD once for all customers or to receive it uniformly from all suppliers.
