Prof. Dr. Laura Marie Edinger-Schons

Since December 2022, Laura Marie Edinger-Schons has been Professor of Sustainable Business and Chief Sustainability Officer at the University of Hamburg. Previously, she held similar roles at the University of Mannheim. Her research focuses on corporate sustainability, ethics, and societal impact, exploring topics such as purpose-driven organizations, sustainable consumption, and ethical technology design. Her work has been published in renowned academic journals including Strategic Entrepreneuship Journal, Management Information Systems Quarterly, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology, and Journal of Business Ethics. Recognized for her impactful teaching and research, she was named among Capital’s Top 40 under 40 in 2019.
