As the sporting flagship of the city of Kiel and Schleswig-Holstein, record-breaking handball champions THW Kiel are aware of their role model function when it comes to sustainability and environmental protection. Its ‘För de Küste’ project brings together companies and people from society, business, science and sport and creates a platform for open dialogue. Stefanie Klaunig, Head of Marketing at the Bundesliga handball club and herself a former Bundesliga player, is particularly passionate about the regional commitment to coasts and oceans in order to preserve them for future (handball) generations.
